Blizzard Of 2010 - North Virginia

We thought the snow storm we had before Christmas was really bad but the one we had this weekend was even worse.

Last time I measured we were at 29 inches and the snow was still coming down fast.

My husbands truck was fast becoming burried.

And our driveway was nowhwere to be seen.

Yesterday evening we started trying to dig out my husbands truck.

But we still have a very long driveway to try and dig out with just one small snow shovel.  Who know's when we'll make it out.

  1. Wow, you guys did get hit hard! We had a heck of a time getting out of our driveway in southern Indiana, but it looks totally inconceivable where you live!

  2. We have friends in Indiana and they said they had about 8 inches of snow. We had over 30 inches in the end which is just crazy. We also live down a 3/4 of a mile dirt road that doesn't get plowed and has about 3ft of snow on it so I think we're going to be snowed in for quite some time. :0(

  4. Thanks CarzooCritters, I love snow but much prefer it when it's 4 inches, not 30! :0)
