When I was first learning to knit (I am still first learning...never really got past the beginner stage) I was a wee bit ambitious and tried to make a scarf with complicated fibres like this....it turned out ok, only because I had some wonderfully patient people by my side to fix my mistakes and dropped stitches! I am going to try again this Christmas...I found some beautiful hand dyed wool to make a colourful scarf. Maybe I will try mittens next year?
