In The Studio This Week

I've been busy working on some Christmas presents this week.  My husband and I will be spending Christmas in Kasas this year and this painting will be a gift for his family.

I've also been busy knitting a couple of childrens scarves.  It's been a while since I picked up the knitting needles and I forgot how fun this yarn is to work with.

While I've been busy creating the cats have been fixated on the birds and squirrels that visit the feeders on our deck.  They are a great source of entertainment (both the cats and the critters).

If you're searching for unique handmade gifts be sure to check out my Thanksgiving Sale this weekend.  You'll find 30% off everything in my store including textured art paintings, digital art prints and journals.  Sale runs from Friday through Monday.

Wishing you all a truly special Thanksgiving.

  1. Kathryn,
Wanted to stop by and wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings! Your black-and-white photos really bring out the texture in each - your wonderful painting, the yarn and soft kitty fur. All lovely.

  6. Hi Kathryn,
I thought I had already visited you, but I see I have not!
I'm going to add your blog onto my blog list so I don't miss your posts.
It is lovely being an artist and creating your own Christmas presents. The horses look great and I really like the textures you have created.
The fluffy scarves are a perfect gift for the children.
Hehe... What a fun photo of the squirrel and your cat. ;-)
    Happy Thanksgiving!
