Still the birds don't seem to mind too much. They've been enjoying the suet we recently put out for them . . . . .
. . . . . while the finches love their thistle.
The new squirrel proof bird feeders we bought seem to be working . . . . .
. . . . . although the birds are such messy eaters and throw so much seed on the ground that the squirrels don't get left out.
It makes for happy happy critters all round.
What's the weather doing in your neck of the woods?
Beautiful photos! Weather is crazy here too - yesterday it was a gorgeous 80 and this morning I had gloves and hat on as it dipped to the 40's. But the sun is shining!

ReplyDeleteI love my Texas weather!! We are in the 60's and at night it gets pretty chilly, Im just happy the sun is shining:O) Love the pictures of the birdies:O)
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific collection of images of these birds at the feeder. And -yes - brrrrr...it's cold out there (but still no snow...:-()!
ReplyDeleteI really like these images Kathryn. Our bird feeders were without seed for a few months and now that we've stocked back up, the birds are slow in returning. I suppose it doesn't help that we have very little snow so they can find food in other places. The weather is upside down here in Minnesota too. They are talking about record high temps this week. Kind of crazy.
