I had a hard time choosing between these two textured images this week, which do you prefer?

The week went by super fast and this evening I will be on a plane flying out to the UK. I get super stressed and am a terrible traveller but I am excited to see my family.
I'll have internet access while I'm away, so hope to check into blogland when I can, but it's unlikely that I will be posting anything until I return home. Don't worry, I am taking my camera gear with me so I'll be back here in three weeks to bore you with my holiday snapshots.
Have fun while I'm gone, I'll miss you guys.

Symbolic of your travels - the bird is you, flying away? I can see why you had a hard time choosing between - I think I prefer the second one - the stark white bird against the navy twilight sky. And I promise NOT to be bored by your travel shots. I look forward to seeing your views of your homeland. (And I'm with you on the "terrible traveler" thing - me too!)
ReplyDeleteWow, hmmmm.....first one, no second one . . . first one . . . nope can't decide either! lol Both are perfect and they both evoke a different mood...does that mean I don't know what kind of mood I'm in today (giggle)! Have a safe trip....don't forget to check in...if I can get it posted - oil and water - oooh!

I absolutely ADORE the second manipulation.
Which says something because I tend toward darker ...broodier... colours generally. Something about the white bird against that blue just SOARS.

Thanks Jen, I usually gravitate towards the darker colors too which was why my instinct was to go with the first image, but there was something about the white and blue image that pulled me to it too.

ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn! I'm visiting from Susan's pay-it-forward Monday blog. I can see why you had a hard time choosing. I love the pure white bird of the second image, but overall I think I like the first one a bit better. The unusual colorway makes it look like a painting.
