Photo Heart Connection: July
The past couple of months have been particularly stressful so I was extremely grateful for this image that made me stop momentarily and take a long deep breath.
There was something about its softness and the way the leaves curl that soothed me. As my husband and I face many changes the suggestion of new life, of grow and a period of transition was not entirely lost on me either.
What image have you found yourself drawn to this past month?
Linking up with Kat for this months Photo Heart Connection.

I could get lost in the softness of this image.
ReplyDeleteIt does make one want to stop and take a moment to just breath. Beautiful.
Thanks Gina, we all need reminders to stop and breath from time to time. :0)
DeleteHi K,
ReplyDeleteThat is truly a beautiful image :)
I am sorry you are going thru so much right now, this economy has been really tough on our family too :(
I hope your move isn't too stressful and that you are back creating your artwork again really soon :)
Have a lovely day, cheers, T. :)
What struck me immediately about this image was the multitude of yellow-greens and the delicacy of those tiny leaves - each perfectly formed.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda, the color of this image helps to soothe and like you I was struck by the delicacy of the leaves.
DeleteHello ~
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say how much I enjoy your image. It seems there's so much stress in life these days so I can relate to what you're saying. What I love about the image is the soft gentleness and curve of the leaves. It seems so very delicate and almost fragile. The gorgeous green tones are a bonus.
Take care!
xo ~ Suzette
Thanks Suzette, I love it when mother nature reminds me to stop and take a breath.
DeleteI took a deep breath and relaxed when I saw this image too ... thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Geoff, so glad you got that from this image too.
DeleteI love the fresh green and the delicacy of the leaf design. Nature is wonderful for grounding us, isn't it? You have captured this refreshing and grounding moment perfectly. Sandra
ReplyDeleteI really can see why this image brings you peace and comfort. It is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo soft. I love how the leaves entertwine, as if to support each other through the growth. I'm glad that you received a deep breath from this photo, and we did too in the Photo-Heart Connection. Many hugs to you, as you go through these challenging times.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me sigh too, and reminds me of how you will embrace each other during this transition and grow together through it!! xo Kim
ReplyDeleteWow, fantastic monochromatic. I love the way the leaves swirl from the center. Change. Yah. Not envying you on that one. Hope it will come to resolution soon. Pats to Ravyn.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful image...very simple, yet very powerful!
ReplyDeleteSoft and lucious, and yes growth! How perfect that there's so much green. It almost seems as if the leaves will reach out and hug you.
ReplyDeleteI love that . . . a hug from nature.
DeleteThis is lovely, one of those photos you can get close to and just feel the colors, the strength of nature, the intricacy of the plan. Nature, the healer.
ReplyDeleteI feel the strength in this image too.
DeleteBeautiful image and sooo refreshing for me. I love nature and little details that make our day when we find them. I hope things will go well for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to your words, these are stressful times. And I can see the reason why this image made you stop, love the green and the delicate pattern. Great photo-heart connection
ReplyDeleteLovely image! Just looking at it makes me relax my shoulders and breath deep! We're in an extreme drought condition right now and there's very little lush greenery left! This just soothes me!!
