How Do I Feel: Reverb12

Prompt:  Take a moment, close your eyes, take a deep breath and ask yourself the question: how do you feel . . . in your body? in your mind? in your day job? in your creative life? in your heart?

I feel

lost and found
happy and sad

free yet stuck

creative but lacking
confident but insecure

good yet bad

optimistic and doubtful
motivated and indifferent

loved yet unloveable

seen but unheard
here but not present

but the point is . . . I feel!

  3. It's amazing how we can feel so many emotions all at once and the same time. You've described and captured it perfectly here.

  5. In this photograph, I see that old biblical serpent; that smooth talker that got us out of the always perfect garden, and into this duality of feelings. I wouldn't want it any other way.

  7. We go through so many emotions and different feelings in one day.. up and down in and out... then it is a new day.

  11. Yes! You capture the contradictions so well. That's my day, right there. And I love the image. It is another contradition -- simple, but complex.

    1. I love how so many can relate. I think we often feel alone in our mixed emotions so it's great to know others often experience the same.
