Word #AugustMoon13

What word did you choose as your travelling companion in 2013? How is it working for you? Where have the surprises been?

'Believe' was the word I chose at the beginning of the year but it would seem that it wasn't meant to be.  'Patience' is the one that keeps presenting itself, hitting me over the head repeatedly.

from across the room
Patience
screams my name

A
lesson, it would seem, I have yet to learn
today is the
Tomorrow
I worried about yesterday
and tomorrow
It’s
likely I’ll do the same
who would think one word could
Evoke
such craziness
for a time
Nature
sustains me
but will I ever find
Comfort
beyond
the willingness to
Endure

Linking up with August Moon.

  8. Very creative acrostic poem - filled with what it takes to carry on during hard times; however I think you might be blessed if you return to believe - believe all will be well, the universe will give to you, that whatever you want is within your grasp and suddenly you won't have to hang on by just your fingernails. But both are assets in troubled times. Well written, and sending you positive thoughts.

  10. Patience is something I continually struggle with. Mostly it is patience with myself because I expect to be able to do everything and truth is, I can't. I can only try to do my best. Love this. So creative - as you always are.
