Weekend

This weekend we worked in the yard.  My husband did a bunch of landscaping while I planted up some pots and window boxes.  It feels like its really coming together.

I've been working on my own little spot which is tucked into the corner of our house.  I'm hoping to plant some clematis or jasmine to climb up behind the bench.

I like to sit here in an afternoon with a mug of tea or a book of poetry and contemplate my navel.

Monday we had mulch put down, I love how it always gives everything such a finished clean look.

At least until the dogs decide to dig around in it!

Or eat it!

Talking of the dogs . . .  we even managed to fit in time for some training and fun time at the dog park.

I've been feeling a bit out of it lately.  Our pear tree is in full blossom which is wreaking havoc with my hay fever.  With a sore throat and watery eyes it feels like a horrible cold.  Still I can't complain.  It's nice to finally have some good weather.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend.
