Messing About In The Water

Yesterday was so sunny, I had to rub my eyes to make sure I wasn't dreaming. 

 

 

All the snow and ice have thawed which meant the dogs got to do one of their favorite things . . .

 

 

. . . walk across the pool cover and play in the water that seeps through.

 

 

Joey normally goes out of his way to avoid puddles and large bodies of water so it always surprises me to see him getting his face and feet wet. Maybe he just likes clean water.

 

 

He was having fun fishing for leaves.

 

 

Ravyn is most definitely a water dog and I could see in her eyes that she's desperate for the cover to come off and go swimming.

 

 

During the summer months it's hard to keep her out of there.

 

 

I don't think that will be happening any time soon though.

 

 

It's been raining non-stop since last night and is supposed to turn to snow later today.

 

 

I don't mind the rain so much, it's a prelude to Spring . . . .

 

 

. . . but the snow, ah the snow . . .

 

 

. . . now that I could do without.

 

 

March sure knows how to put on a show!
