What wonderful and inspiring life lessons..and such a magical image to accompany!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marcie, life is definitely a 'learning' game.
DeleteYou know that I am a fan of all of your images, but this is one of my very favorite images that you've ever posted here. It took my breath away this morning. I agree with Marcie that the life lessons you write about are inspirational. You're one of my heroes.
ReplyDeleteJane, you just made my day. Glad you're such a fan of my images, that means a lot coming from such a great photographer.
DeleteLove this macro shot. Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing light on those delicate fibers. Important lessons you have learned - and are still learning, as we all are.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda. :0)
DeleteThe image is intriguing because it seems both soft and spiky -- kind of like your year, I imagine! I love the words you've written here. I think we learned a lot of the same hard lessons in 2012.
ReplyDeleteA lot like my year Lisa . . . here's hoping for softer lessons in 2013. :0)
Deleteyes, we do. This line especially resonated with me and what I tend to go searching for: "animals make life interesting." Loved this post!
ReplyDeletePS Thanks for stopping by my blog -- I love how #reverb brings all of us together! :)
ReplyDeleteLove it...and yes, animals make life interesting.
ReplyDeleteThis year I learned that I'm much happier being me and doing my own thing instead of trying to be the person other people want me to be and doing the things other people expect me to do.
ReplyDeleteI also learned that if I wash my feet every evening then they don't smell at work :o)
I'm sure your work colleagues are thankful!
DeleteMost of your lessons are similar to mine. Life would be so boring without our animals. Digby has me experiencing so many extreme emotions in the space of a few minutes . Sheer frustration with his distructive puppy ways, disbelief at his intelligence, absolute tummy aching mirth at his antics and love because of the bond we share. Your photos are beautiful and I love your header. I'm giggling at Brainwhispers lesson re washing feet :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely lessons, all. And a gorgeous photo! What would we do without our pets to make life "interesting!"
ReplyDeletePets make life interesting...lather, rinse, repeat! haha
ReplyDeleteLove your words here....especially, to be!
