Backyard Birds

I'm driving myself crazy with all the things I need to do, so much so that I find myself running around in circles not getting much of anything done.  Ever find yourself doing that?

 
Anyway, it has been a while since I've shared any 'bird' shots so yesterday I decided it was time to get reacquainted with my feathered friends.
 

Many of you will know that one of my favorites is the tufted titmouse.  It's something about their ability to rock that Mohawk of theirs that always makes me smile.

 
That doesn't mean to say I don't have love for some of the other guys that stop by . . . . . like the black-capped chickadee . . . . .
 

. . . . . cardinals and finches.

 
Well I've procrastinated long enough.  Time to stop walking around like a headless chicken and get some stuff done around here.

    Oh I love the titmouse too, such personality with that "do"! And yes, I have so much to do before my in-laws get here for Thanksgiving and I just get paralyzed, so I photograph instead! haha

    Okay - so I have stated publicly how much I dislike birds - but that certainly does not mean that I don't greatly admire your bird shots. How you can capture this quickly moving subjects so consistently, capturing their unique personalities - well, I stand in awe.
