In The Studio With Dyche Designs

With my poetry book published I can turn my attention back to art.  I've been feeling a little 'stuck' lately so figured it was the perfect opportunity for a tidy up.

As you can see I have a few pieces painted black . . . my natural starting point.

Here's a piece that I just finished with 'before' and 'after' shots.

What have you been working on lately?

  1. This is beautiful. I can't seem to get off the couch. Working on my book time to time and life's daily requirements sometimes but not inspired at all.

  2. Wow, i really like your artwork! Looks amazingly beautiful! I've been working on some final exam projects in my school here, so i can get finished and take a year off to explore my inner self before i study further on, and I've also been working on getting written some poetry for my blog! One of my big dreams is to one day publish a collection of my poetry in a book.

  3. very cool...nice layering of colors in the last couple there...i like the breaks in texture...in the pictures of the black ones....what is that first one going to be...it looks a bit like a zoom in on a leaf.

  4. I love your wall in your room....and I love this piece, reminds me of the beach! I'm feeling a little discombobulated latey, scattered, not enough time, can't make up my mind kind of way. Can't make a decision and finish anything in my metals class, not sure what my problem is?

  5. I adore your seascape - the colors - the way they flow from blues to greens - so watery and lovely. You have captured that underwater feeling with such a wondrous minimalism.
