Horsepower


the sign says "Stop"
but momentum can't read

fury
the catalyst that knows no restraint

impulse
driving the spur in its side

  1. Love the free feeling of movement you can benefit from once you have built some momentum - there is nothing so rewarding as the pull of momentum once you have put in the effort to get something started.

  6. Each stanza has an edge to it as it stands alone but paired with the subsequent stanza, they gain blunt force. Well written.
