Lotus Pond

I love exploring Lotus Pond at the Cincinnati Nature Center and seeing the wildlife there.

At this time of year the frogs and toads are pretty well camouflaged.  Mud baths seem to be a popular activity among the residents.

I fell in love with this little guy, it's just too cute how his back legs are stretched out in the air as though he's trying to fly.

Don't forget to stop by my Free Giveaway for your chance to win this 7"x5" mixed media art painting.

  3. Adorable.. toads are definitely for real.. We have them in our garden, but at this time they are hiding well.. You are good at capturing them through your lens.

  4. Photos are amazing K. I haven't seen a frog in water forever. They like to sit in between the rocks of our garden wall and serenade us at night, lol :)
