Lotus Pond

I love exploring Lotus Pond at the Cincinnati Nature Center and seeing the wildlife there.

At this time of year the frogs and toads are pretty well camouflaged.  Mud baths seem to be a popular activity among the residents.

I fell in love with this little guy, it's just too cute how his back legs are stretched out in the air as though he's trying to fly.

Don't forget to stop by my Free Giveaway for your chance to win this 7"x5" mixed media art painting.

  4. Photos are amazing K. I haven't seen a frog in water forever. They like to sit in between the rocks of our garden wall and serenade us at night, lol :)

    Have a wonderful Thursday, cheers, T. :)

  6. Absolutely beautiful pictures.

I had duckweed one year but it died out. I seem to have lost my parrot grass too.
