Photo Heart Connection: May

Some of you may recognize this image from yesterday's post.  The reason I chose this particular shot for my Photo Heart Connection is two-fold.  Firstly because our new lab pup, Ravyn, has truly stolen our hearts.  So full of character with a range of goofy expressions she never fails to make us smile.

The second reason is because it represents how I feel right now . . . . 'holding on' and a little 'crazed' looking in the process.  There is a lot of uncertainty around my husbands job and I am sure we will see changes in the coming months.  Change is always unsettling, especially when you're unsure what it may look like.  At least Ravyn is providing us with more than a few laughs while we wait things out.

Linking up with Kat for this months' Photo Heart Connection.

  1. What a cute Labrador puppy and how well her position and expression represent how you feel right now and yet she also represents new beginnings and joy. How lovely to have this little family member with you at this time as things seem uncertain. Ravyn is there to make you smile and she brings a light-hearted element into your lives which sounds perfect in the present situation!

  2. Yes, I miss those puppy days, well not all the work! Mine is now 5 years old (in sept) and I don't know where the time went. He is such a compfort in times of stress and always know just when I need a hug. Hang in there, even though it's not compfortable, change is sometimes good. xo

  5. It is the "not knowing" that is so stressful. I'm glad you have Ravyn to lift your spirits during this uncertain time.

  9. What a cool message to receive thru this image and thru your joyful addition. Go with the flow-as Ravyn discovers her world, you get to make discoveries too. Hope the answer comes in terms of the job. Strange thing, you never know what's just around the next corner

  12. Puppy are so cute. I find it amazing to look back through my photos and to experience the connection that had to my heart. I took them for a reason. But, to revisit them I find that they say so much more I just have to listen. I love that you listened to your heart with this photo. The unknown is always to heavy - but based on your description above you are able to enjoy the joyful moments that life brings you even while you wait. Much love to you and your family as your journey through the unknown.

  18. These photographs are beautiful and I love the messages you pair with them. I am not learning life lessons well lately. Always impatient. I need to stop, like the pup, and notice the little butterflies.

    1. Thanks Lisa, I'm pretty impatient myself and not too good at learning life lessons even when I recognize them. :0)

  19. I hope everything works out soon so that you can catch up on your sleep. Nothing like niggly worries to keep you up all night. In the mean time you have Ravyn to lighten the moment. She looks so sweet in her goofy way.
