It's been crazy hot here the last few days so we took Ravyn to the river to cool off.
She had so much fun diving in the water and retrieving sticks. I almost wish I could approach life with the same kind of abandon that she does. Talk about no fear. What have you been doing to cool off this summer?
Beautiful photographs -- Ravyn has grown!!
ReplyDeleteLove when you post photos of Ravyn!
ReplyDeleteI learn from my dog everyday, too!
Summer? Cool off? If only! Lovely to see her growing up though. X
ReplyDeleteRavyn is definitely ALL lab. Love this series-she's getting big. Just wondering how you kept that camera dry.
ReplyDeleteYup - cray hot!! It's the only place my sweet pup is happy!!
ReplyDeleteSuch energy and joy. As for staying cool - the climate-control of air conditioning and trips to the ice cream stand for Oreo drumsticks.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! And what a great way to stay cool! We are feeling the heat here in the south also.
ReplyDeleteOh these are fabulous - you sure rock those action pics of her! And she is quite the little retriever. Hmmmm, stay cool - in Texas? Not sure that ever happens, but in between the rain I did manage to get to the beach this week! xo
ReplyDeleteI love these. I can almost remember the smell of wet dog. We had a black lab and a few German short-hair pointers when I was young. I remember how they loved the water and how my little sister would squeal and run away when they looked like they were heading back to shore so she wouldn't be caught by the water as they did their shake. Really nice capture of the action and freezing the water in the air. So cool.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos, we have been suffering heat waves all summer long, is difficult to cool off
ReplyDeleteNow that is a blissed out dog!
