Ever get those days when it feels like your nerves are frayed? Like they are on edge, as though someone is carelessley strumming them? Today is one of those days.
It didn't help that I tossed and turned all night worrying about taking Ravyn in to be 'spayed', or that my husband had to get up at 4.30 am to catch a flight. I guess that's why (despite being a good day) things have felt a little off kilter.
What has you off kilter and why?
PS Ravyn's surgery went well and I get to bring her home tomorrow.
Glad to hear it went well... I have to tell you, I think it's something in the air... the last two days have felt the same to me...
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it passes soon! xoxo
Off kilter, that just about sums it up. Being sick has thrown me off kilter, people and their negative energy right now, is throwing me off kilter or I'm just not up to not letting it get to me. AND, I'm really off kilter because I did a favor for a guy who is retired and takes all of our school sports photos (for free) and posts them to facebook for everyone to see, and since he couldn't be at the varsity game last week he asked if I would fill in for him and he let me borrow his 300mm 2.8 D II lens (which I have never shot with before). I put all the photos on CD for him, but he eluded that everyone was expecting high quality photos and that if they weren't good enough he would put my name on them (in bold letters)? Good or not shouldn't my name be on them anyway, since I took them? Plus I was sick all last week and probably shouldn't have gone, but I said I would so I did . . . yep, off kilter because I'm not feeling very appreciated at the moment!
ReplyDeleteReturning from a great vacation - and having to catch up. With laundry, housework, grocery shopping and an unread blog feed that doesn't seem to decrease in number no matter how hard I try :)
ReplyDeleteI hope things went well with Ravyn.
How is Ravyn? I hope your nerves are less frayed today. Mine are shot -- too many temper tantrums from the kids today. Time for BED!
ReplyDeleteRavyn is doing great. The moment I brought her home from the vets she was as full of it as ever, you'd swear she'd had nothing done. She ate through the cone they put on her in less than 12 hours but thankfully she hasn't chewed at her stitches. Temper tantrums, uh oh. Hope tomorrow is a better day.
