Random Five Friday

  • I love how this fence seems to remain intact when it's clear the nails are no longer doing they're job.

  • I recently created a website using weebly (www.dychedesigns.com).  Now I have to figure out the hard stuff like SEO's and all the other technical stuff.

  • I need to seriously start thinking about applying for citizenship but tests freak me out.

  • I'm in a creative lull but am trying to work my way out of it.

  • I have started to embrace purple, does that mean I'm getting old?

  1. You need to let me know how weebly works out --

    what is the cost?

I didn't know you weren't a citizen -- apply now, we don't want you deported! Lol.

I embraced purple in my 40s, which is young. When you start wearing capris, then you can worry. ;)

  2. I love purple ... probably because I've always loved lavender. You aren't getting old -- just prepared! ;) Your muse is just on vacation ... she/he/it will be back. Love the fence photo ... tells a story doesn't it!?! have a great week.

  3. i love purple. any clue why you love it now? i am glad you have come over to it's true beauty. it is my 1st fav. followed by blue & green.

that is wild that the fence is still working - even though the nails are not doing their job. that is definitely photo worthy. maybe to use in the Guinness book of world records??!

i wish you well on your test. i have heard that you be full of great knowledge. some have said you will know more than most Americans. please keep us posted on that. ( :

  6. I feel just like that fence and the way it way it wears it's nails simply as accessories. As for purple ... it's my favourite colour and I'm not that old ;-)

  7. Great find on the fence. Purple is probably my least fave color. Good luck with the citizenship, I had to take a test here in England for my permanent residency permit. Lots of studying was done.

  8. Good luck with the citizenship test. Gosh that must be a bit of a trial. I get into creative lulls too, but recently I've been at the most fantastic art show called Art In Action where artists and artisans share everything from techniques to art supplies and secrets. Give me a shout when you feel all out of sorts and maybe we can work our way out and back into art. :)

  10. Yes, how IS that fence holding itself together? Some hidden strength apparently - a beautiful metaphor. Best of luck on your new website venture.
