I Remember

memories of being kissed
gut like a clenched fist
or was it more like butterflies
the deceit, the lies

  1. I suppose that there are kisses that lie. The bible says that Judas betrayed with a kiss.

  11. ugh... lies and kisses do not really fit... a kiss for me goes straight to the soul...not a place where i would want the lies hitting me full blow..

  12. Kisses and lies ... yes, it happens and it hurts. Betrayal is heart-breaking. The heart has a way of healing itself like a beautiful butterfly, it sets itself free. A touching poem. Thank you for sharing and visiting my blog :)
