Prompt: What made your soul feel most nourished this year?
I gulp down seasons
thirsty for transformation
for renewal and change
I bathe in moonlight
sprinkle myself with stardust
and clothe myself with nature
I slough away tension
with tree bark and stones
dry autumn leaves and pine cones
for renewal and change
I bathe in moonlight
sprinkle myself with stardust
and clothe myself with nature
I slough away tension
with tree bark and stones
dry autumn leaves and pine cones
I shake off pain
like droplets of rain
filling myself with birdsong
like droplets of rain
filling myself with birdsong
and in these moments
in the breathing
my soul is nourished
in the breathing
my soul is nourished

ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda, having fun. It's been strange not being on the computer as much though.
Deletenice bit of a meditation there...in letting go of the things that will hold us down, in learning to breahte it in...our soul will def find nourishment...
ReplyDeleteEvery season teaches us something and its up to us to absorb it. Lovely write up:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Vandana. I've come to realize that even the seasons that are my least favorite have something to offer.
