Sharing

I've never seen this before, birds sharing food from the same feeder as a squirrel.

Grey Squirrel With Carolina Wrens

It's almost as though they thought the squirrel was holding it still just for them.

The downy woodpeckers waited for the dogs to scare the squirrel away . . . . .

. . . . . it would appear they prefer to dine alone.

    1. Thanks Mary, I have the Canon 60D and most of my bird shots are taken with my 70-300mm lens from inside the house. :0)

  6. Beautiful pictures. Our squirrels let the bird eat from their bird feeder. I don't believe I've seen the birds and squirrels eating at the same time though...

  7. Aw, it's amazing how they can all get along when they are hungry... it's been such a hard winter for all the wildlife.
