Photo Heart Connection: April

April brought rain and with it the color that I was so desperately longing for.  It's true when they say "you don't know what you miss until it's gone" . . . . .

. . . like the way the air comes alive before a storm, its presence tangible
. . . like the smell of wet earth after a good soaking
. . . like the way a downpour makes everything feel cleansed and renewed
. . . like the music rain creates as it beats on your window pane
. . . like the signs of growth and new life as they quench their long Winter thirst

Linking up with Kat for Photo Heart Connection.
